The flowers offered as sympathy or at the time of the festivities end up withering. However, we are working to preserve them. Watching time fade similarly lingers on the object status of the image. The original instant photograph is common and manipulable.
Its enlargement preserves and magnifies it in a way: thanks to the digitization of the photograph, we can appreciate the materiality, the deposits of textile fibers and the embossed imprint of the original support. He thus offers a new sensory and affective experience of popular photography. And it prolongs the life of dead flowers.
